Today
is Friday August 6th and ALB Tech will be open and rapidly repairing
computers from 11am to 5pm. Today we’d like to take a minute and talk
about our recent recognition in Richmond Magazine.
ALB Tech was voted #3 Best Computer Repair Shop in Richmond (tied with
the Apple Store at Short Pump). In Richmond Magazine’s annual Best and Worst of Richmond, ALB Tech placed in the best of department. Now we are super excited about this and
think that it is wonderful – we just have a few comments.

] Why is Best Buy even allowed in this competition? Their prices for
repairs are extremely bloated and slow and their services are performed
by various different technicians and blah blah blah they are awful.
Just plain awful. DO NOT GO TO BEST BUY FOR COMPUTER REPAIR – YOU WILL
GET ROBBED! Not only that, but they’ll a national chain and there is
like 4 of them in Richmond and more in surrounding areas. Not fair.
Boooooo for their inclusion in this list. Capitol Mac
deserves to be where they are – not only are they in the coolest tech
area of Richmond (our two block main st. throwndown) but they’ve been
around since the year of my birth (1984)! Congratz Capitol Mac.
Apple is exploding right now and CM is too. ALB Tech, on the other
hand, has been around since December 2007 and is run by ALB (Adam Lloyd Bell
– me), a few friends, helpers, and fabulous ECPI and Highland Springs
Technical Center interns. This repairing thing that comes from ALB Tech
is truly the bees knees – great prices – fast turn around time – etc…
That’s why we were able to be on this list and even tie with another
monster, the Apple Store @ SP.
TODAY we are trying to consult or
diagnose 30 customers today – that is – new ones. So get off your butts
and come to Richmond’s #3 Computer Repair Shop (*cough* #2, boooo Best
Buy *cough*) We always offer free diagnostics…. what are you waiting
